For model years 2015 and later, we moved away from option graphics. Our new
process
gives
highly detailed views of kits and sets, in addition to providing individual
parts
graphics
and dimension details. Images like the one below, that may not relate to your
service
event,
will be removed from parts.cummins.com.
Removed
WHY? It was determined the representative graphic strategy can be confusing and
would
require specific training each time new user access parts.cummins.com. To ease
navigation concerns and provide system clarity, we have removed the
representative
graphic. Now all images will be accurate to the service event.
Moving away from option graphics has allowed us to design highly detailed kit
graphics. We strongly encourage the use of kits when searching for smaller
individual
parts on engines built after 2015. Please notice the ‘Kits and Sets’ section
along the
left-hand side of the search window.
In addition to the detailed kits and sets, parts.cummins.com has the addition of
individual Parts Display graphics and a Dimensions notes column.
